بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ

What is a Sadaqa Ghariya, in English, ongoing charitable donation.

This donation is, as the name suggests, ongoing. In other words, a donation that you make during your life, but that stays with you even after your death. In our example this is the donation to a place of worship. As long as people pray, read the Koran, teach, and donate in this place, you will receive all these benefits. Your donation multiplies more and more. What is it like in the month of Ramadan and in Laylatul Qadr? How much your donation will multiply on these days. As the tradition of our beloved Prophet Mohammad s. says: “Whoever lights a lamp in one of the mosques of God Almighty, it will not be removed. The angels and those on the throne ask for forgiveness for him as long as the lamp burns in this mosque."
